To effectively make your decision on which diamond to purchase, you should first understand a few terms and principles. These are outlined in the explanation in Education. You can also look at our Policies page. Using that knowledge, decide which diamond shape and size you prefer, and which qualities you feel have the highest priority for you. Clarity? Color? Carat? Cut?

We have pre-set the categories of Clarity and Colour for ease of use. Clarity is set at VS2 - small markings invisible to the naked eye, even to a professional diamond grader. Colour is set at G which is near colourless especially when set in gold. Both these categories can be reset by you to refine your search.

Please remember that the diamonds that best retain their value are those of higher quality. The cutting quality of a diamond determines its brilliance and dispersion ("fire"). Diamonds2u supply only quality diamonds cut to strict standards.

A certificate from a world recognized grading laboratory is provided with all loose diamonds, rings, pendants and earrings.

The GIA (Gemological Institute of America) and the EGL (European Gemological Laboratory) offer diamond certificates in which the 4C's are analyzed and certified. These certificates are used widely for insurance purposes and for verification of authenticity.

NOTE: To allow the search to return an exact the criteria (4c's) of diamond we suggest you set the price at "Any". Otherwise the price indicator will overrule all the other categories and return results closest to your request but within the price range specified determine the results of your search.
